Chiriqui is located at the southwest end of the republic of Panama and has a surface 8653.23km2. To the north borders the province of Bocas del Toro, on the south by the Pacific Ocean, east of the province of Veraguas and the west by Costa Rica.

This province has different extremes and contrasts, its high mountains and flat costs that exceed the height 3000metros.

The highlands of Chiriqui are of volcanic origin and occupy almost the bulk of the central mountain range.

The mild climate of the mountainous area is characteristic of the higher areas of the province; enjoyed fully in Cerro Punta, Volcan and Boquete. In these areas the rainfall is abundant, almost nine months a year, which contributes to more pleasant weather on the region. The diversity of climate makes Chiriquí is one of the most productive provinces of the country. Boquete coffee as much as oranges, are considered among the best, with strawberries from Cerro Punta.

On the other hand, farms of livestock and products derived therefrom have a high membership in this region. Chiriquí is undoubtedly one of the richest regions of the country.

City of David:
It is the capital of the province. It has a population of 118,000 and the city is the third in popularity. To the end of the nineteenth century, David had only six streets, of which four belonged to the town center, which today is known as Barrio Bolivar in the center of town we can find

BOQUETE:
Just 45 minutes from the warm city of David is Boquete, a place known as the city of eternal spring, or the city of flowers and coffee.

CERRO PUNTA:
It is a town located north of the province of Chiriquí has a pleasant climate, beautiful views and beautiful flowers complemented by the work of farming is done in the area. The beach of Las Lajas:

Volcano:
Volcano is a town located in the foothills of the Baru volcano. Since its peak at 3475 meters above sea level, you can see the Pacific Ocean and Caribbean Sea. Volcano is commonly known as "Little Switzerland", since many immigrants from that country settled here and built small villages with the typical architecture of their hometown.

Volcano is an ideal place for visitors who are engaged in activities that focus on nature, visiting gardens, exotic fruit and flower plantations, horseback riding and even exotic birding.

La Amistad International Park (PILA)
Best known as the Stack, is a total of 207,000 hectares between Chiriqui and Bocas del Toro, of which 62.1 hectares belong to Chiriquí.

Has been declared World Heritage for Humanity by UNESCO, given the great importance that has for the preservation and biodiversity not only for Panama but to the entire continent. This park is home to a long and wide variety of animal species like the jaguar, and a variety of birds, among which is the quetzal. Its tropical moist forest is a compendium of how was the primary forest of Central America and has 7 of the 12 critical areas necessary to maintain the major ecosystems on earth.

Chiriquí can go in many different ways: driving which only takes 5 to 6 daily buses will take about 6 to 7 hours. By air, airport and Mapiex offer daily flights depart from Albrook airport in Panama City. The flight time is approximately one hour.
